Explain five reasons for which Nigeria should continue to be a member of the African Union (AU).

- Deepening democracy and good governance.

- Financial assistance e.g grants, loans etc,
- To benefit from education/scholarship schemes.
- Cultural exchange programmes.
- Participation in games and sports.
- Access to large market/intra-African trade.
- Collective approach to control epidemic diseases e.g Ebola, Malaria, etc.
- Effective conflict management and resolution.
- Africanisation of the civil and public services.
- To ease movement of citizens across the continent.
