The Chief Examiners’ and Team Leaders’ reports shows that, the performance of candidates was not encouraging when compared with those of previous years.  However, there is room for improvement if appropriate measures are taken as regards the candidates weaknesses.  Government should make the texts available to both teachers and students.   Qualified teachers should be recruited  to teach Hausa in the secondary schools.  The teachers should always advice the candidates to improve on their attitude towards learning for better performance.
