Observation

1. Ìyá Bàbá Mi:  Most candidates gave appropriate description of a paternal grandmother.
2. Ìjà Kan Tí Ó Ṣojú Mi: This is a narration on a fight witnessed by the candidate. Many of the candidates failed to give the progression of the narration.
3. Ìwà Búburú: This is an expository essay on a bad character. Candidates’ performance was fairly good.
4. Ẹ̀kọ́-ilé dára ju Ẹ̀kọ́-ìwé lọ. This is an argumentative essay on the topic Home training is better than training by the school. Most candidates failed to balance the argument by looking at both sides of the coin critically thus performing poorly in handling the topic.

(ẹ)      Lẹ́tà sí ọ̀rẹ́ rẹ lórí àǹfààní tó wà nínú ìwé ìròyìn kíkà. An informal letter to a friend on the benefits of reading the Newspaper. 

            Most candidates tackled this topic very well.
